
Emirates is seeking a Cargo Reservations & Customer Service Executive to join its Dhaka operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth cargo reservations, exceptional customer service, and accurate shipment management across Emirates’ global network.
Job Purpose
The position focuses on handling and updating cargo reservations with sound judgment, managing shipment records, assisting customers with inquiries and complaints, and optimizing cargo yield to support Emirates’ high service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Accept and finalize cargo reservations to destinations worldwide by considering factors such as loadability, cargo mix, traffic trends, and revenue potential.

Proactively address customer concerns and initiate tracer actions with follow-up to maintain service excellence.

Prepare and analyze cargo reservation reports, including yield performance and seasonal variances, for management insight.

Provide accurate cargo quotations, flight schedules, tariff details, and shipment status updates to customers.

Create, update, and maintain import/export shipment records while informing customers post-flight about shipment progress.
Qualifications & Experience

Graduate degree required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in cargo or mail handling within an international airline, airport, or GSA agency.

Strong knowledge of typing, telex, and IATA cargo IMP.

Hands-on experience with cargo reservation systems (SITA Fast IV is an advantage).

Completion of Basic Cargo and Cargo Mail Handling training is essential.
